Rainwater tanks are very usual components that save lots of water. The water saved during this way can be used in a number of ways. This precious water can be used for gardening purpose or you can wash your clothes from this water. Some people also use this water for their animals and pets. This water is pure and can also be used for human drinking purposes as well; however, the experts say care must be given importance when it comes to using this water for human drinking purposes. Many
government officials strictly forbid people to drink this water. However, it is also a proven fact that this water can be taken into human use after proper purification treatments.

Rainwater tanks come in different sizes and shapes and are made of different materials. What factors should one keep into mind when it comes to choosing the material for rainwater tank? There are various factors that create a direct impact like it is important to know what you will use it for and where you are going to install this tank.   3. ·         Fibreglass Tanks: Fibreglass tanks are usually considered best for above ground installations. Fiberglass is a very durable material; however, it is bit costly than others.
  4. ·         Metal Tanks: These tanks are the strongest of all. They are not as heavy as one might think about them. They are made light weight so that they could easily be transported and installed.
With this, there are some other factors that one should consider while purchasing material for his rainwater tank. The family lifestyle will also be counted. The area of the home is very crucial in this sense. If a person has a relatively larger home and he is planning to choose the water of this tank for gardening purposes, then he will definitely have to purchase a large tank made of polyethylene.
Similarly, if a person lives in a sea area, he will not want to purchase a metal tank because a metal tank can get rust very early in moisturized atmosphere.
